How is the Sublative treatment tolerated by patients?
During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation as energy enters their skin. After treatment a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is also common. Topical anesthetic ointments and cooling are often used to reduce discomfort during treatment.
When can i expect to see results?
Post treatment, they may notice tone and texture improvements as a result of increased levels of beneficial collagen and new healthy skin cells which are produced. Typical treatment protocol is 3 - 5 treatments, 4 - 6 weeks apart. The total number of required treatment sessions depends on the skin condition of the patient.
Who should be treated with Sublative™?
Treatment is a safe and effective solution for all skin types.
How does Sublative™ work?
The ergonomic Sublative™ applicator delivers bipolar radio frequency energy via a matrix of 64 electrodes in the disposable applicator tip. The RF energy generates fractional deep dermal heating in the region of the electrode matrix to induce skin injury, thus eliciting a wound healing response. Striae and acne scars as well as mild to moderate wrinkles and superficial skin discoloration are reduced, and skin texture becomes more smooth and elastic.
How does Motif IR Treatment work?
The combined energies of elōs technology precisely heat the connective tissue within the target treatment area. This stimulates collagen production and produces a younger appearance in the skin. Mild to moderate wrinkles are reduced, and the texture of your skin becomes smoother with a decrease in pore size.
Is there a need for maintenance treatments?
If there was no change in weight, and no new striae, there is no need for maintenance treatments.
elōs: How does elōs vein treatment work?
Combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies precisely target and heat the unwanted vein while protecting the surrounding skin.
Is there any downtime following treatment?
The patients may continue with their daily routine immediately after treatment; however the area will show small red dots that will gradually fade in 2-4 weeks. The patient should use a high-factor sunscreen (at least 30 SPF) and protect the treated area from sunlight during the entire course of treatment and for at least one month after.
How does hair removal with Motif work?
Hair follicles are precisely targeted and destroyed using the revolutionary elōs combination of bipolar radio frequency and laser energies.
Is the treatment safe?
The treatment has been shown to be very safe, with no significant side effects in all skin types.
How does triniti work?
The 3 treatment technologies of the triniti skin series feature combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies which precisely heat tissue within the targeted treatment area to stimulate improvement within the skin.
How does Sublative™ treat Striae?
Sublative technology is neither laser nor light based. Instead, this one-of-a-kind technology uses fractionated bi-polar radiofrequency directed to the skin in the form of a matrix. This fractional delivery of RF energy causes micro-epidermal ablative injuries with wider spread dermal coagulation. This initiates a strong wound healing response in the dermal matrix while also minimizing the damage to the epidermis. Less affected tissue surrounding the matrix points may be stimulated by heat which helps accelerate the healing process, leading to a smoother, more elastic appearance of the skin. Striae are reduced and less pronounced, and discoloration is reduced.
How does Sublime™ work?
The Sublime™ treatment combines safe and effective levels of infrared light and bipolar radiofrequency energies to remodel the dermal layer of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth. Both laser and radiofrequency have been used separately for decades in medicine and surgery, but the Sublime™ exclusively combines infrared light and bipolar radio-frequency energy for ideal treatment outcomes with a very low risk of side effects and virtually no down-time.
What are Striae Distensae?
Striae or stretch marks are areas of skin that look like bands, stripes, or lines. They first appear as reddish or purple lines, but tend to gradually fade to a lighter range. Striae are always initiated by stretch whether the stretch is excessive or minimal; spontaneous striae do not occur. Striae may result from a number of causes, including, but not limited to, rapid changes in weight, adolescent growth spurts, corticosteroid use or Cushing Syndrome, and generally appear on the buttocks, thighs, knees, calves or lumbosacral areas. In addition, approximately 90% of all pregnant women develop stretch marks either on their breasts and/or abdomen by the third trimester.
How does skin rejuvenation with elōs work?
The combined bi-polar radio frequency and light energies of elōs technology precisely and safely target pigmented lesions such as freckles, sun spots and age spots.
How does acne treatment with elōs work?
Acne occurs when a sebaceous oil gland surrounding a hair follicle becomes clogged with oil and dead skin cells. Bacteria growth in this clogged environment causes infection and acne blemishes. The combined bi-polar radio frequency and blue light energies of elōs technology penetrate the skin to precisely target and destroy active acne-causing bacteria, while also slowing excessive sebaceous oil production. Treatment helps in reducing active acne and speeds up healing time of existing acne.
The Importance of Realistic Expectations
It’s important to note that none of these treatments are designed to help you lose weight but instead are meant to contour and define your body in a way that your healthy lifestyle choices cannot. Having realistic expectations going into the treatment process is important but at the same time, know that when you commit to the process, you will achieve some noticeable results.
